    Chung, Tae-il | 2016, 31(2) | pp.5~32 | number of Cited : 2
    Abstract PDF
The 20th National Assembly election was an historic election revolution, which was the defeat of the ruling party and the overwhelming victory of the opposition parties. The cause of the election revolution in the 20th National Assembly election is the potential and inherent resistance to the government and ruling party. The cause of the election revolution is as follows. First, the increase in cigarette prices and the child care crisis led by Park Geun-hye's government reversed the public sentiment of the middle class. Second, the Park Geun-hye's government has promoted the state-authored history textbooks and the agreement on the historical issue regarding Korean comfort women, which are far from the national sentiment. Third, the Park Geun-hye's government lacked awareness of the economic crisis and no alternative to youth unemployment. Fourth, there is anxiety which the Park Geun-hye's government has responded to the disaster of Sewol Ferry and MERS. The 20th National Assembly election also changed the political structure. It is the first time in 16 years that liberal lawmakers will outnumber conservatives in the legislature. Promising a new way of doing politics, the party won 38 seats in the April general election to become the third-largest power, ending two decades of a two party legislative system. Regional support for political parties has changed. The People's Party occupied the Honam area. The influence of the National Assembly elections related the next presidential elections did not show significant results in the regional elections. However, in the proportional representation parliamentary elections, when the parliamentary rate was less than 45%, the change of government appeared.

An Empirical Study on the Impacts of Quality Management Activities to the Competitive Capability of the Third-party Logistics Company in China

    OH se-gu , Lee, Sang-bin | 2016, 31(2) | pp.33~56 | number of Cited : 0
    Abstract PDF
Many scholars have suggested that Quality Management can promote competitive competence. However, the question remains as to weather a relationship exists between QM and competitive capability. This study has two main goals; (1) to determine the relationships between QM, competitive capability and performance; (2) to determine if competitive capability fosters performance and play mediating role between QM and performance. Using a self-administered survey to sample Chinese logistic companies, this study examines four hypotheses and tests the proposed model. The findings of this study are as follows: (1) The leadership of CEO has a strong influence on the Quality Management Activities; (2) Quality Management Activities have a strong impact on the competitive capability of enterprises’ performance. However, the competition capability of enterprises in the process is performing a full role in mediating between quality management activities and performance.

The Trend of Cultural Consumption of Chinese Residents : Focusing on the in-depth interviews with the residents of Beijing

    Jung-Hee, Lee , KIM SUNGJA | 2016, 31(2) | pp.57~79 | number of Cited : 1
    Abstract PDF
In the research, I surveyed the residents of Beijing in depth so that I can find out the status of Chinese' Cultural consumption and what features it has because it is not so simple to figure it out with the usual statistical data. The findings are as follows. First of all, the system of spending has changed. As of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the structure has started changing. Especially, the higher their income level is, the higher the expenditure of Cultural and Recreational Articles is. Secondly, the consumption of travels has dramatically grown. It is not limited to domestic trips. In recent years, their spending on overseas trips has rapidly increased. It seems that the Chinese considered the consumption of the travels necessary. Thirdly, there is a big gap between the groups who spend on education. They are classified into such two groups as the first group who has children who study in school and the second group whose children have finished their study, who does not have a child, or who is single. In the former, the members of the group spend their income on educating their children, which is, especially, private education. In the latter, they expended their income on self-improvement, which is ranging from 0 percent to 50 percent in their consumption. Finally, Chinese' needs to spend on culture has been increasing. In particular, they showed their appetites for spending on trips. Most of them said they would expend their earnings on travels if they made bigger money later, which means they have strong needs for expending on trips.

A Study on Cultural Contents Product Development Competitiveness Methodology in Gyeong-nam Area : Focused on the Contents Convergence Technology for the Arduino based Culture Product

    Lee, Byung-hoon | 2016, 31(2) | pp.81~99 | number of Cited : 1
    Abstract PDF
Moderns society shows the trend of high interest on the development of culture products by means of various idea and emotional product development utilizing the contents convergence technology. The culture products in use of the sensor technologies in variety present the contents diversity and interest on the product to the consumers. The convergence technology utilizing the open type platform called as Arduino is regarded as an important factor to such changes. Especially, the 3D printer and the Internet of Things(IoT) based environment change bring forth the study on the creative thinking expression and production trial through formation study and design planning across the artist, craftsman, designer and student. Currently, the Arduino platform realizes the interactive elements by converging the 3D printer and IoT based environment and adopting the open source type control technology, and it has been applied to the development of intelligent type culture products which are appropriated to the digital environment. Furthermore, the environment change based on open source displays the closest relation with the culture phenomena which form the sharing culture in modern society, and creates the maker culture. Now, the consumer products reflecting the various personalities and preferences have been in increasing trend globally instead of the uniform culture products. The manufacturing environment base utilizing the open source and 3D printing technology will be expanded in the future. In this viewpoint, the culture product development based on Arduino has a meaning of important technology competence for contents convergence. With regards to the changes on the culture product design, the design will be developed to the advanced intelligent type culture product utilizing Arduino in the future when the current culture products had been developed oriented to the formative nature and aesthetics of the product. The the contents development will be expedited by adding the elements of the story and fun. This study is purposed to find the potentiality on the culture product development direction on the basis of the technology contents development for culture products and convergence technologies through analyzing the technologic expression of culture products by introducing the Arduino board, analyzing its characteristics and utilizing Arduino.

An analysis of dynamic co-evolution between Private R&D expenditure for inducing innovation and export of New products : An evidence from Chinese high-tech industry

    Park Sang Do , Bongsuk SUNG | 2016, 31(2) | pp.101~126 | number of Cited : 1
    Abstract PDF
This article employs dynamic panel approach to test the effect of innovative Private R&D efficiency of policy on New product export in china high-tech industry. We use panel data for 14 high-tech industry in china for the period 2004-2014. Taking into account the results of panel framework analyses (e.g. normality, structural break, cross-sectional dependence, panel unit-root and cointegration tests), the panel vector autoregression (VAR) model in the first difference was used to test the causal relationship among the variables in question. To deal with the simultaneity problem introduced by differences and the existence of heteroskedasticity in the genuine error across countries, panel generalized method of moments (GMM) estimation were conducted, then on the basis of the difference in GMM estimation results, causality was determined by running Walt tests on the coefficients of variables. The results shows that there is long-run linear casual relationship between innovative Private R&D efficiency of policy and New product export in high-tech industry of the china, and that there is no short-run linear causal relationship running from innovative Private R&D efficiency of policy to export. Plus, the study reveals that there is not only shot-run linear bilateral relationship between New product export and GDP, GDP and innovative Private R&D efficiency but also existed dynamic path dependency.
