After anodic spark oxidation, the anodized specimen and the Pt plate connected cathode and anode, respectively. Hydrothermal treatment performed at 90, 120, 150 ℃ for 2 hours in the electrolyte containing K2HPO4, CaCl2・2H2O, Tris(Hydroxymethyl) -(CH2OH)3 CNH2(Aminomethane), and NaCl. The optimum impulse voltage for anodic spark oxidation was 350 V. The optimum pulse cycle measured at 10 mS. The HA crystals precipitated excellently by cathode reduction at 150℃ for 2 hours. The phases of anatase, rutile, and HA coating on the surface of modified titanium surface immersed in Hanks' solution for 3weeks were detected by XRD measurement and the intensity of HA crystal phase has increased by temperature and time of hydrothermal treatment. According to the our experiments, we found that Pure Ti will be good materials of bioactivity and biocompatibility

Data were collected by self-administrated questionnaire. A SPSS 12.0 for Windows was used for statistical analysis. The obtained results were as follows; 1. The average of PVW among the respondents was 3.43. 2. The area average of PVW determinants was as follows ; job significance, 3.31, process efficiency, 3.42, product usefulness, 3.32, vision realizability, 3.53, social recognition, 3.23 and the total average, 3.36. 3. The married have higher PVW than the unmarried in all areas(p=.012, p=.008, p=.036, p=.007). 4. As for working experience, in the case of perceived self value, those having 1~2 years experience have the highest PVW(p=.000), apart from perceived self value, those having over 6 years experience have the highest PVW in all areas(p=.015, p=.001, p=.002). Relating to the task, those working in the patient consulting and managing part have the highest PVW, relating to the annual salary, those having over 25 million won have the highest PVW (p=.000, p=.000, p=.001, p=.000). 5. The relationship between PVW and PVW determinants, in all respects, is meaningful, so it was found that the higher determinants are, the higher PVW is. 6. The whole explanation variate of PVW determinants was meaningful in PVW, perceived self value, value fulfillment emotion, respectively representing 38.8%, 55.6%, 61.5%(p<.001). PVW of clinical dental hygienists should be considered as a significant criterion of indivisual and organizational effectiveness. Relation between the degree of dental service on dental service provider and dental fear Sung Hee Jun, Myung Hee Jung1 Dept. of Dental Hygiene, Daegu health College Key words : dental fear, dental hygienists satisfaction, dental services Objectives: This study was conducted to know dental service and fear after research on reliability on dentists and satisfaction on dental hygienists. Methods: This study was conducted by the 325 persons who had the experience of visiting dental medical institution. Statistical analysis was conducted using the SPSS 12.0 with T-test, ANOVA and correlation. The obtained results were as follows; Results: 1. Internal consistency of Dental Beliefs Survey(DBS) and dental hygienists satisfaction questionnaire factors were 0.758 - 0.908(Cronbach' alpha). And the Cronbach' alpha's coefficients of the all subscales were more than 0.6. So high reliability and validity were identified. 2. As result of analysing fear from general feature, the men feel more fear than women and more fear was felt in the case of having worse teeth status. Fear was higher in case of visiting to dental clinic than in case of visiting dental clinic for precaution. And that was statistically related. 3. Dental fear was higher in the case of having the past pain experience, insufficient anesthesia experience, experience of seeing other persons pain and this was statistically related(P<0.01)(P< 0.05). 4. Average of reliability on dentists was 37.9, person who has high reliability was 81.8%, person who has low reliability was 18.2%, average of satisfaction on dental hygienists was 31.5%(Satisfaction on dental hygienists was 51.1% and dissatisfaction on dental hygienists was 48.9%). 5. Higher dentists reliability and satisfaction on dental hygienists has lower fear considering general feature and dental clinic use behavior but person who has the dental clinic to go regularly has higher dentists reliability and satisfaction on dental hygienists where, however, fear was not low. 6. As result of analyzing correlation between dental service and dental clinic use behavior, satisfaction on dental hygienists was negatively related to reliability on dentists and fear. And, reliability on dentists was positively related to fear, pain experience in dental clinic, incomplete anesthesia experience, near person pain experience(experience on seeing person in pain), which were statistically related(P<0.01). Conclusions: In relation to general features and reliability on dentists and satisfaction on dental hygienists caused by dental clinic use behavior, dental fear was decreased when reliability and satisfaction are higher. Group with low dental fear had higher reliability on dentists and satisfaction on dental hygienists than group with high dental fear but only reliability on dentists was statistically related(P<0.05).

A Study on Approach toward Integrative Dental-Hygienist Curriculum Model Mi-Yeong Hwang, Chun-sun Lee1 Dept. of Dental hygiene, Dongnam Health college key word; integration, integrated curriculum The purpose of this study was to classify the courses of the dental-hygiene curricula into several categories by field, to incorporate the subjects in the same category into an integrated course, and to suggest how to ensure the successful phase-in application of integrative education according to Ronald M. Harden's 11-stage integrative ladder model. The findings of the study were as follows: 1. When the existing curricula were analyzed, it's found that many credits were provided to the courses in the area of basic dentistry that offered both theory and practice. In particular, the subjects tested by the national examination were offered by every college. In the field of public oral health, the largest number of credits was allocated to theory of oral prophylaxis and practice courses. In clinical area, clinical practice, in the area of dental office management, dental insurance course was given the largest credit. There were 31 to 61 major subjects in the colleges, which indicated that the major subjects were segmented in detail. 2. It seemed necessary to incorporate the subjects in the field of basic dentistry into oral biology, and theory of oral prophylaxis/practice, preventive dentistry/practice, preclinical stage, emergency treatment and introduction to dental hygiene should be integrated into clinical dental hygiene. The courses in clinical area should be combined into clinical dentistry, and in the field of medical management, dental insurance, hospital management and medical relation law should be incorporated into management of dental clinic. 3. In the 11-stage integrative ladder, the subjects in the same field could perfectly be incorporated as the stages advanced. Each of the subjects was less emphasized, and communication and joint plans among teachers who were respectively in charge of the courses were increasingly considered important. Specifically, there should be a consensus among the teachers in regard to the outline of teaching programs, order of education, objects and objectives of programs and what and how to evaluate.
