Lots of instructors extend their career field to YouTube and then they supplied their learning contents through YouTube. Based on these observations, the purpose of this study was to investigate lifelong learning instructor’ characteristics as partial free labor and concerns as educator in YouTube. For the purpose, the framework was developed based on the reviews on the perspectives of partial free labor. The qualitative data were collected from 16 interviewees who were lifelong learning instructors in high ranks on hits and the number of searches. The results were followings: First, the labor of lifelong learning instructors showed the characteristics of partial free labor. Second, the instructors faced the limits of free labor in experiencing overwork and no-benefit. Third, some instructors transit free labor to wage labor through the contracts with MCN. But the instructors with wage labor still experienced the separation, non-freedom and the oppressed situations. Based on these results, some implications were discussed.
