This paper deals with the theme of culture, which is the foundation in the
lives of today’s youths, and compares general cultural concepts and Christian
cultural concepts in order to distinguish and instill Christian cultural values in
our youths. Moreover, by examining the characteristics of 21st Century culture
and the cultural characteristics of Korean society (specifically the culture of
Korean youths), this paper points out that anti-Christian values are prevalent in
Korean youth culture.
By understanding these characteristics, this paper presents a program on how
Christian education should nurture and counsel youths.
