The analysis of the scattering wave fields by a two corner of imperfect conductor surfaces is computed. The arbitrary impedance surfaces, the corner angle are considered for the computation of the diffraction coefficients. the first, The diffraction coefficients for the first, second and third diffraction wave at the corner are derived. The approximation for the second-order and third-order diffracted fields has done using the extended spectral ray method and the modified Pauli-Clemmow method of the steepest descent. The Maliuzhinets function which is very difficult to obtain accurate value is approximated by the Volakis's asymptotic expression. Numerical computations are performed for the various corner angles and surface impedence values. Finally, computed results are examined and discussed.
Recently automotive industry is working on a new research using IT technologies. Because of tracing locations of things and grasping with sensors inside the vehicle, Unmanned Vehicle System has a narrow view of things. Also cars will cost more. To solve these problems, engineers should be propelling new car technologies development using IT technologies. Therefore, we in this paper tested an Auto-parking system using IEEE 802.11a. The test was designed to consider parking environment. Also we developed a transmission program for control command of car. In this paper we were to research on the vehicle based IT convergence technology.
This paper proposes a new point rendering algorithm using CUDA. We can directly render 3D point data obtained from scanning system without the reconstruction step of a triangular mesh from them. Because a point data set has no topological information like an adjacent information of a triangular mesh, we should search it for close neighbor points of each point and then render it using 2D rectangular or elliptical splats whose size can cover the hole between points. Especially we use CUDA for point rendering algorithm in order to improve computation speed through parallel processing in GPU.
u-IPTV service is considered to be one of a few killer application with a fast growth. It is required high quality next generation convergence service through NGN to satisfy user's desires. In this paper, an efficient resource allocation method for providing high quality u-IPTV service is proposed which is based on M/M/n/n queue. The performance result has been verified by the blocking probability. The performance index being considered in the research takes both reward and loss of services in consideration which is called GAIN, defined as the average amount of received by the system. Finally, the experimental result is proved by comparison between blocking probability and QoE video factors.
There are so many 3D objects in a database but it is not easy to search an object based on its feature or manage it. If the shape of an object is simple, it is not problem to detect features because it is easy to decide standard for mesh segmentation. However, if the shape is complex, it is a big problem. This paper proposes the efficient algorithm for mesh segmentation of 3D objects. We make one-thickness boundary lines based on Gaussian curvature and concaveness, and then segment a mesh using merging small regions to extract exact features. One-thickness boundary lines help us find exact division lines to detect precise features. By applying our algorithm, we could success to segment regions in various models which have a lot of curved faces.
In this paper, we propose a color correction method based on a 5-level gray color pattern board in the variation of illumination. We first identify relationship between the corresponding patches of the color pattern board images captured in the different illumination. Then based on this relationship, we construct the mapping function from the image of the source illumination to that of the target illumination. The corrected image is acquired by applying the mapping function to the color value of each pixel in the source image. The proposed method is devised for the real-time processing in order to correct the real-time input frames while excluding complicated color correction methods introduced in the content-based image retrieval. In the experiments, we applied the proposed method to two images including a color pattern board and three objects captured in the different illumination. Experimental results show that the colors for three objects in the different illumination are corrected with improvement of 79.5% on the average.

However, ID Federation is not offering management system of user privacy information for managed himself/herself. Thus, user suffer a great damage such as invasion of privacy or plagiarize user information from a malicious attacker. In this paper, we propose user-centric ID management technique that provide security and right to control own information in cloud computing environment.

Though projects of recovering the original cultural content enable to archive database for traditional folk music, they have not provided suitable services to general users. In this paper, we introduce how to apply context-awareness technique to traditional folk music web sites. We elicit requirements and features of traditional folk music, and we also extract context attributes - user's age, background knowledge, language, and intention - from them. After then, we model context from the context attributes in object-oriented way.
In this paper, we propose some of the following points for high-speed fuzzy controller using OpenMP in the recent QuadCore PC environment. (1) integer pixel mapping using only integer operations in the consequent part, (2) eliminating the zero items in the consequent part for fast defuzzification, and (3) novel COG method without multiplications. The proposed method was simulated for the air condition control system to verify its performance as compared to the conventional single programming systems. As the results of simulation, the proposed system is 10 times faster than the conventional method. This system can be applied to build powerful architectures for control applications, such as robotic control, with real-time environment.
The QC (Quay Crane) on the harbors is operated with the electric power and operation commands supplied through festoon cables. Festoon cables are connected between the operation chamber, which moves connected with QC trolley, and the girder that is a structure of the crane. The weight of festoon cables reaches about 800kg; they give a large burden to QC and, they are aged, the accident that the cables or hanger roller bearings fall down may be occurred resulting in human and material damages. The festoon cables should periodically be replaced to avoid such accident but it is difficult to solve such problem because it is difficult to know the exact time for replacement. Therefore, a method is suggested in this thesis to replace the festoon cables with wireless communication and regenerative power. It is intended to suggest the QC free of festoon cable by the method that the electric power needed to the trolley of QC is supplied using the regenerative power and the operation commands are given through wireless communication.
Currently, Korean Coastal Traffic Control employs AIS(Automatic Identification System)and radar system to provide with coastline control, search, rescue support and ship traffic control in marginal sea areas. Since AIS is too costly for small vessels to be equipped with and due to Target Swapping effect and changes in detecting capacity resulting from variable sizes of ships and distance to the target, however, it seems imperative to find appropriate precautions to reduce sea traffic accidents. From these perspectives, this paper suggests a fundamental study of Vessel Traffic System development with the use of IP-RFID technology.
