    Security vulnerabilities analysis in Network Systems based on the Hacking Incidents

    In this paper, possible security vulnerabilities analysis in network system environments are studied by analyzing previous hacking incidents. The paper suggests a method to identify problems with the files tampered by security attacks as well as to analyze the related log files and processes. In addition, tools used in attacks are analyzed to find efficient ways to apply security enhancement tools, and security vulnerabilities in network protocols and their countermeasures are also examined. Possible security vulnerabilities is analyzed following a "query-and-response" approach, so that they can be easily applicable to similar attacks detected in the future.

    In this paper, our goal is educational simulator implementation for DDoS using DEVS Modeling. With DEVS modeling we can understand basic structure of DDoS attack and we analyze existing attack scenarios and using infection method of malicious code to make a new attack scenario for make simulator which can calculate damage. This simulator can configure clients and traffic sending by clients.

    The Research of Line-Drawing Algorithm from 3D Polygonal Meshes

    Outside of computer graphics field the line drawing is widely used in pattern recognition (medical diagnosis, text processing, drug discovery, and speech recognition), machine learning, data compression and so on. Generally line drawing is a process of transformation of an input data into a reduced representation, but keeping as much relevant information as possible. line drawing in computer graphics has wide application in non-photorealistic rendering to create artistic approach, but also can be used for model reconstruction. We will provide slight description of such linear feature, like contours, ridge and valley lines, suggestive contours, apparent ridges and highlight contours.

    A Study on a Multi-Exposure Camera System for Screen Golf

    Realistic sports games have been one of the growth industries of the entertainment field. In particular, screen-golf, which is played indoors with actual golf clubs and balls, has shown an outstanding growth rate in South Korea. It consists of a sensor, a computer graphics engine, an interior, and other elements. The sensor is the most essential component among them. It measures the initial conditions of a flying golf ball, the velocity, the horizontal angle, and the vertical angle. Most commercialized measuring equipments were infrared LED type, associated with relatively low accuracy and a narrow measurement range. Camera-based screen-golf sensors has better performance, but it is not broadly used expensive compared with other sensors. In this research, a multi-camera system based sensor that captures multi-exposure images is suggested with the robustness against the interference of an external lighting. The proposed system was verified in an environment equal to that of a real screen-golf store.

    uT-space and mobile phase with each other computing objects and dynamically adjust the communication means available to the environment. Mobility in the object, even if they move to a different physical space communications because it can be restrictive rather than physical boundaries can be expanded. Context-awareness is a system to provide customized service to users whenever, wherever they want to get it. The context-awareness system can reason user's physical and organizational context. It have to reason the context exactly to provide service or informations to the user, and it is concerned with representation of knowledge.

    One-on-One Computer Learning System through Simulation

    Compared to the younger generations, the elderly are inexperienced beginners when it comes to computers and the internet. This thesis tries to efficiently help them out with their fear of learning new things, declined memory, and slightly slower reflexes to react to situations. Mainly, the thesis centers on a One-on-One Computer Learning System that is learned through simulation. This will help lessen the alienation of the elderly from today’s age of information. This educational system has the following qualities: First, it is composed of very elementary menus that those that do not have even the most basic knowledge about computers can easily approach it. Certain processes that may be difficult to beginners such as how to start and shut off the internet and sign up. Second, the user will be able to take advantage of the web and use this learning system when and wherever she or he wishes to. This system is very much like learning everything step by step in real life. The simulation-based technique of the virtual lectures easily overcomes the limitations of online education. Third, because the main target of this system are computer illiterates, after each lesson the user can test his or her progress through a one-on-one learning method.

    Study on Utilization of Engineering Education Accreditation System in Junior Colleges: Focused on M Junior College

    Due to degradation of industrial students' academic ability in junior colleges, we need Engineering Education Accreditation System in order to improve the quality of engineering education. This study has developed and suggested the standard for proper accreditation of engineering education program in M Junior College. Review of materials, face-to-face talk with experts, and delphi-analytic Approach in twice have been done to achieve the goal of this study. At the first delphi-analytic approach, suggestion on the standard for the Engineering Education Accreditation System was stated, and at the second delphi-analytic approach, validity, reliability, and importance of the accreditation standard was analysed. Furthermore, a practical plan for Engineering Education Accreditation is improvement of education course, implementation of practice-focused education, secureness of educational equipment, close industrial-educational cooperation, small group tutoring, and course evaluation.

    Green development means to develop the green technologies for minimizing emission rate of greenhouse gas through using the energy efficiently and decreasing the environments load, and to substantialize the sustainable development for the promotion of related green industry. The world for the preemption of the newly emerging green market is already concentrating its national resources into policies on green development technologies, and adopts it as a strategy for economic growth, a solution of unemployment problems. Consequently Korea should not consider the environmental problems only in terms of cost-benefit, but use a chance of reinforcement of the national industrial competitive power. In this point of view, this paper had analyzed the survey regarding the necessity of a technical manpower who relates green growth field and the recognition against the green growth of the domestic enterprises for the development of the engineering education curriculum in the changed paradigm to the green development.

    Study on Learning Model of Enhanced PBL: Focused on Department of Computer Science and Information

    The study ability of junior college students is gradually falling lately. Considering the situation, there should be also different changes to the teaching learning method for those students. This research suggests adopting the learning model of Enhanced-PBL to increase the learning effect by providing existing PBL, plus individual one-on-one talk to the ones who lacks in the basic learning ability. To check the validity and the effect, the research analyzed the programmed course and saw if there is a significant difference between the lesson that is applied with E-PBL program and a traditional lesson. The result was that the students who received the lesson that is applied with E-PBL program participated actively in class. This improved the sense of ownership toward learning, problem solving ability, the prevention of straggler, the growth of communication and learning ability, and participation skill during the class.

    Inhibitory Activity of Plant Extracts on biosynthesis of Melanin as the iological pigment on skin

    The inhibitory effects of solvent extracts of 75 plants on melanin biosynthesis were investigated. Amongst the plant extracts, CHCl3 fraction of Juncus effusus, H2O fraction of Eupatorium chinensis, BuOH fraction of Veratrum patulum, Hexane fraction of Chionanthus retusa, and Hexane fraction of Sophora japonica showed a significant mushroom tyrosinase inhibitory effects with above 80% at 100 ㎍/㎖. Among these, BuOH fraction of Veratrum patulum will be studied further to elucidate the structure and chemical properties of the active compound responsible for melanin biosynthesis inhibitory action.

    Finding Relevant SNP Sets and Predicting Risk to Disease Using Simulated Annealing

    We applied simulated annealing algorithm and decision tree to find SNP sets relevant to a disease and predict the disease risk. For time complexity problem of SA, we construct an initial SNP set by fast heuristic algorithm and applied efficient transition rules to obtain new SNP sets. The experiment results show that we can obtain new SNP sets with the improved prediction performance compared to others by traditional feature selection algorithms.

    In general, origami is used as an efficient tool to enhance the intelligence and design sense of human. In this paper, we describe an efficient origami printing method using computer multimedia technologies. Our method helps ordinary users to get origami papers printed with his face image. To achive our goal, we implement an printing system based on digital imaging system and Direct X libraries. The proposed software system can merge and process camcoder video and ordinary origami images. We demonstrate and analyse the effectiveness of our system.

    Model Design of Green IT Monitering for Waste Water Treatment

    Recent surge of interest in eco-friendly and Green IT is growing interest in the well. Green IT more than the older IT equipment to improve energy efficiency in the forefront of sustainable management and reduce the risk of contamination in the workplace are not. In this paper, used in car wash wastewater flowing into wastewater sent to the handler to manage waste effectively monitoring system is proposed. In this system, the car wash, car wash wastewater generated in the course of the operation of waste handlers can be monitored by measuring the time and also measure the amount of water contamination data, depending on time of fans have to know how much is used. Thus, at a car wash that is used to determine contamination of wastewater and waste handlers to meet the pollution by reducing water pollution is expected to be effective.

    Estimating the Determinants of Households' Consuming Expenditure A Panel Data Model Approach

    Household expending consumer is composed of various factors for groups and time series. This study paper focuses on what makes up this household expending consumer. In this paper we use the panel data for finding various variables and using this we analyse the factors that is major influence to household expending consumer. For analysis we looked at the expending consumer of households of 9 groups such as rent, electricity, food expense, & non-alcohol drinking expense, traffic expense, entertainment expense, food and lodge expense, education expense, health care expense, telecommunication expense, etc. In our analysis we looked at the expending consumer each households during the period from 2005.01 to 2009.12. We examined the data in relation to household monthly income, the consumer price index, employment ratios, the house sale pricing index, the coincide composite index, the composite stock price index and employment ratios. In looking at the factors which determine household expending consumer and outgoings, evidence was produced supporting the hypothesis that there is a significant positive relationship between the household monthly income and house sale pricing index, but house sale pricing index is a non-significant variable and there is a negative relationship. And consumer price index and composite stock price index and employment index are positive relationship and they are not in terms of significant variables in terms of households expending consumer.

    OBE(On Board Equipment) of DSRC (Dedicated Short Range Communication) are set up 3.60 million cars as Korea Highway Cooperation supplied in Hi-Pass(ETCS : Electronic Toll Collection System). Because of most of them pay in advance, that is inconvenient to use ETCS. This paper developed a Hi-Pass deferred payment system for users in highway as imposing the charge of deferred payment on mobile phone owner's credit card or bank account . This payment system gets the information of a mobile phone identifier and car model with combining OBE and mobile phone.
