    Malicious Code Neutralizing Method Using Image Format Transforming Based on Nonlinear Transfer Function

    Various bypass techniques have been developed to hide malicious code in image files among non-executable files. It is difficult to detect by reputation or signature-based antivirus methods when unknown malware is hidden. In this paper, we proposed a neutralizing method of hidden malicious code to analyze the structure of the original image file format and disable the malicious code through image data area conversion even if there is no prior information about the signatures or characteristics of malicious codes. The proposed method consists of image file extraction phase, file format analysis phase, file transformation phase, and management phase of transformation image file. In the image file transformation phase, header information transformation, specific string filtering transformation for additional information, and image pixel data transformation using nonlinear transfer function are performed. In order to prove the effectiveness of the proposed method, 10 malicious code - hidden image files among 48,220 of the latest malicious code (paid API) purchased from Virus Total Company were used in the experiment. After the file extraction phase, the format analysis phase, and the image file conversion phase for the neutralizing method, the experimental results show that the virus detection amount is reduced quantitatively and thus the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified. In addition, by using the non-linear transfer function, the converted image file was able to neutralize the malicious code while maintaining the same quality as the original image, which could not be distinguished by the naked eye.

    A study on Learner’s Trait Factors Affecting Discussion Flow and Satisfaction Degree: A focus on Self-Regulated Learning Strategy and Smartphone Addiction

    This study aimed to fine the effects of learner’s trait factors on discussion flow and satisfaction degree, focusing on self-regulated learning strategy and smartphone addiction. The research data was collected from the 46 discussion learners. After discussion, the data was analyzed through multivariate analysis of variance. The results of this study were summarized as follows : Firstly, the learner's self-regulated learning strategy affects the learner's discussion flow degree. That is, the high self-regulated learning strategy group was more effective than the low self-regulated learning strategy in the discussion flow degree. Secondly, the learner's self-regulated learning strategy affects the learner's discussion satisfaction degree. That is, the high self-regulated learning strategy group was more effective than the low self-regulated learning strategy in the discussion satisfaction degree. Thirdly, the learner's smartphone addiction affects the learner's discussion flow degree. That is, the general user group was more effective than the smartphone addiction group in the discussion flow degree. Lastly, the learner's smartphone addiction affects the learner's discussion satisfaction degree. That is, the general user group was more effective than the smartphone addiction group in the discussion satisfaction degree. Based on these research results, it was suggested that the high self-regulated learning strategy and the prevention of smartphone addiction should be considered in order to improve the discussion outcomes.

    A CMOS LNA based on Inverter Structure for Wideband Applications

    In recent years, the potential technology for short distance and high-data wireless communication systems has been grown. Ultra-wideband (UWB) technology has emerged as a considerable interest and new technology. According to a proposed standard, the UWB system is assigned to operate over 3.1 - 5 GHz or 3.1 - 10.6 GHz. Most of the proposed applications allow transmission of signals between 3.1 and 10.6 GHz. In this paper, a wideband CMOS Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) is proposed with a inverter structure using inductor peaking technique and broadband matching techniques, which meets stringent requirements of UWB system in the proposed specifications. The proposed LNA has the inverter structure and cascode structure with shunt feedback. Measurement results show the maximum power gain (S21) of 17.4 dB with the 3-dB band and input/output reflection coefficient (S11, S22) of less than –9.7 dB from 3.1 to 9.6 GHz. In addition, the fabricated LNA achieves the minimum noise figure (NF) of 3.5 dB from the operating frequency, which value is much lower than previously reported state-of-the-art wideband amplifiers. The input-referred IIP3 and the input-referred P1dB of the proposed LNA are achieved as 0 dBm and –10 dBm, respectively, while consuming 27 mW in 0.18- RF CMOS process.

    Development of a Blended Learning Based SW Maker Education Program

    In this study, a blended learning based SW maker education program was developed. The target learners of this program was students in the 3rd and 4th years of college. The goal of this curriculum was to have a basic competency as a maker through a long-term intensive education program that combined online and offline education within one year and to exhibit their project outputs to a maker fair for these learners. This course was designed to enable students to select three tracks for PC application developers, mobile application developers, and embedded developers according to their final target job category, so that learners could develop final products with clear themes which could be helpful for their career path. Throughout the course, online and offline education were blended, and after completing the entire common courses consisting of vocational foundation courses, common foundation courses, and advanced common courses, each course was designed to be completed in three different tracks. The basic direction was to carry out basic theory trainings online and intensive practical training and project development in offline. During the maker fair project, the offline maker space, online lab, and supports from tutor was provided respectively to create a multi-faceted learning environment.

    Implement of Big Data Collecting System Based on Distributed Messaging(BDCS-DM) Using the Rasberry Pi

    Recently, as the Smart Factories become an issue, there is an active movement to construct CPS by collecting and analyzing PLC data at factories that already use pre-built systems such as MES, SCADA, and PLC. However, in order to read the PLC data from the pre-built MES middleware and transfer it to Hadoop, the pre-built MES middleware developer must input the labor, and it takes a lot of investment and time to collect various data from the PLC and store it in the big data storage. Due to these problems, SMEs have a lot of difficulties in making pre-built factories into smart factories. In this paper, we have designed and implemented Big Data Collecting System based on Distributed Messaging(BDCS-DM) that can read the PLC data transmitted through Modbus of pre-built MES system at low cost using Rasberry Pi board. Through simulation, we confirmed that data collection performance is improved by installing a Rasberry Pi board, and have come to the conclusion that three Rasberry Pi board can be added. Also, in order to guarantee the performance for PLC data collection per 1ms cycle, we could see that effective to transmit 10 points per 10ms cycle in the Ethernet environment. Implemented system is expected to be possible to apply on not only the smart factory but also any fields using Big Data and further researches will be made for possible application on other fields.

    A Study on Workflow Processes for Self-Adaptive Software System Approaches

    The Self-Adaptive Software Systems (SASS) is composed to a complicated process. It depends on some factors that can change during the system operation lifetime. The adaptive software system composes of the adaptation engine and the adaptable software. This engine implements adaptation logic by using a policy engine and by providing of middleware. The advantage of this approach consists on the fact that adaptation engine can be reused and each adaptation processes can be applied to various applications. For this reason, it is necessary to define the processes for providing as Self-Adaptive System (SASS) the capability of generating for run-time the process that manage to their adaptation. Accordingly, in our research paper, we present a framework for the automatic generation of processes for SASS based on the use of workflows, model-oriented and artificial intelligent planning techniques. Our approach can be relevant to different application domains, enhance the scalability related with the generation of adaptation plans, and enables the usage of each planning techniques. To evaluating our approach, we have proposed a prototype for generating for run-time the workflows.

    Analysis and modeling of industrial energy are currently a time-insertion process because more and more energy is consumed for economic growth in an industrial factory. Industrial energy consumption analysis and prediction play a very important role in improving the energy utilization rate to make profitable things for industrial companies or factories. Industrial factory owners are also starting to realize the importance of energy analysis and predictions to make a plan for better energy utilization for their factories. So, this is the high time to work as a technological supportive hand with an industrial factory in order to improve their energy utilization for making some profitable things for industrial organizations and also for our society. It is not so easy process to analyses energy and realizes accurate predictions of industrial energy consumption. Therefore, this study deals with analysing total usages of 24-hours energy consumption for every month and also total usages of energy for the year 2017. We find out the difference between total usages of energy and demands of energy for the year 2017. We make relation curve between per-day usages of energy and different types of materials weight for different types of manufacturing product, and also make a relation curve between per-day usages of energy, demands of energy and total materials weight for manufacturing products for the year 2017. We use the correlation method to find out the relationship of usages of energy with different types of materials weight for manufacturing products. Finally, we find out the total usages of energy for manufacturing every product and make a decision about the energy utilization.

    A Comparative Study Based on SVR for the Change of Strawberry Productions by the Variation of Nutrient Water Flow

    Strawberry is one of the most well-liked fruits all over the world, and strawberry productions is rapidly rising as one of the most healthy economies all over the world. Due to the high demand for strawberries, greenhouse strawberry cultivation is increasing rapidly and farmers are using different types of methods for greenhouse cultivation to get high productions. The aims of this study are to find out the high production rate of the strawberry based on nutrient solutions with water flow rate. Farmers use a different amount of water nutrient solutions for strawberry production but mostly they don’t know how much nutrient solutions with water flow is good for getting high production because of giving the high amount or less amount of nutrient solutions with water flow are always not good or bad for productions. Farmers have to know about the amount of nutrient solutions with water flow for getting good productions and now this is the high time to support farmers for increasing their strawberry productions by giving technological support. Therefore, in this study, we analyze the production rate of strawberries based on the nutrient solutions with water flow rate of strawberries in every bed. Finally, through the results and discussion by using the support vector regression model we find out that how much nutrient solutions with water flow should be needed to obtain high yielding of strawberries.

    AHP Analysis Correlation Study Between Sewer Pipes Buried Underground in Metropolitan and Road Sinking

    Among the major underground structures in the metropolitan area, the rate of underground space occupied by water supply and sewerage facilities is 50 to 60 percent of the total underground storage space. In particular, because more than 90% of the road is laid underground, road accidents are caused by the combination of the normal load and frequency of use of the road, and various reasons such as the structural integration of old water and water pipes, the geological characteristics of the buried area, the precipitation and snow conditions, poor construction of the pipe, and the durability of the pipe according to the number of years that elapsed. Therefore, to understand the correlation between road falls and sewer pipes that occurred for seven years from 2010 to 2016, an important survey was conducted on the importance of setting weights to directly related workers such as experts in sewage areas, Seoul Metropolitan Government and the ward office, and the analysis results were weighted to establish a road map. According to the result analysis, the government planned to implement CCTV, visual inspection, etc. and present systematic and efficient maintenance measures by establishing priority areas for maintenance of sewer pipes. The plan is to present measures for improvement of sewerage maintenance policies and measures for responding to natural disasters through the enhancement of DB information, as well as sensors, asset management, and the improvement of water supply systems.
