About Global Health and Nursing
Global Health and Nursing (GHN) is the official journal of the Research Institute of Nursing Science, College of Nursing, Pusan National University. GHN is intended to contribute to the development and extension of the body of the knowledge in the fields of research, theory, practice, education, and policy in nursing and health by disseminating quality scientific papers. GHN is published twice (at the end of January and July) a year in print/online issues.

GHN is concerned with the protection of the rights and dignity of all subjects involved in research. Regulatory and ethical considerations in the use and care of animals in research must be addressed. Research practices and procedures must be such that biosafety hazards are prevented.

An explicit statement should be made in the manuscript affirming the status for institutional review for protection of human subjects, use and care of animals, and ensuring biosafety in research, as applicable.

Editorial Policy
Manuscripts are considered with the understanding that they have not been published previously in print or electronic format and they are not under consideration by another publication or electronic medium.

Manuscript Submission
The categories of articles to be submitted are as following:
1) review articles
2) quantitative research articles
3) qualitative research articles
4) others, such as concept analysis, Q methodology, meta-analysis

In case of Master’s theses or doctoral dissertations, it should be explicitly indicated so and the first author of the article should be the recipient of the scientific degree.
All manuscripts must be submitted online via the online manuscript submission and review system at http://rins.pusan.ac.kr.
Manuscript Preparation
Papers should be prepared using standard manuscript form according to the NLM style (https://www.nlm.nih.gov/pubs/formats/recommendedformats.html). Length should be no more than 15 pages (6,000 words), exclusive of abstract, tables, figures, and references. Use the A4-size paper option (8 ½ by 11), not letter-size. Double-space manuscripts. Use a 12-point font. Times New Roman is preferred for the text Specific information is publicly available on the NLM website (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK7256/).

Editorial and Peer Review
Each manuscript is sent for double-blind peer review by three members of the peer-review panel, who are selected for a manuscript based on their areas of expertise. If the manuscript is subjected to publish, the author will be asked to respond the reviewers’ comments with a revised manuscript and a cover letter within 2 weeks.

Publication Before publication, proofs of edited copy are submitted electronically to the corresponding author who is responsible for checking the accuracy of the material in 48 hours.

The publisher has exclusive rights to the article and to its reproduction and sale in all countries. GHN reserves the right to edit all manuscripts for style and space requirements, and to clarify the presentation.
