<abstract>

In Korea, liver cancer is the sixth most prevalent malignancy and the second leading cause of cancer-related mortality. The peak incidence of liver cancer deaths occurs between the ages of 40 and 59. (e.g. <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="r001">Yoon et al. 2021</xref>)

The patient is a 69-year-old female with bronchiectasis as an underlying condition. She underwent left lower lobe resection for the disease, and in 2009 she was diagnosed with liver cancer and experienced a recurrence after a full recovery. In the case of such patients, the most effective OCNT prescription is recommended.

INTRODUCTION

In 1980, she was diagnosed with bronchiectasis and treated with antibiotics and oriental medicine, but her condition worsened, and she underwent a left lower lung lobectomy in September 1984.

In 2009, she was diagnosed with early-stage liver cancer, but even in the early stages, ascites and edema reached a dangerous level. Using radiofrequency cauterization and antiviral medication, she overcame the crisis; however, in October 2018, the liver cancer returned. Due to the condition that had spread throughout the hepatic artery and liver, was given a three-month prognosis.

Five times she received chemotherapy, and in April 2019 she underwent hepatic arterial chemoembolization.

Anthocyanin-fucoidan nanocomplex (AFNC), non-oxidized/unmodified essential fatty acids, active nucleotides, and active trace minerals were consumed frequently and consistently in October of the same year.

RESULT

Bronchiectasis-related cough, sputum, and headache disappeared after taking OCNT. In addition, AFP (a test for detecting and treating liver cancer and germ cell tumors) and PIVKA-II (a tumor marker for hepatocellular carcinoma) returned to normal levels.

In September 2022, the AFP level rose from 9.63 to 11.96, and a thorough examination (MRI, CT) was performed, but neither lung cancer nor liver cancer was detected.

DISCUSSION

The patient was devastated after receiving the news of a second recurrence of liver cancer and being given a three-month prognosis. Receiving a prescription for OCNT and diligently consuming it helped alleviate her suffering. In addition, the bronchiectasis has improved, and the patient, who previously lacked confidence in her ability to laugh because phlegm would come up even when she laughed softly, can now laugh loudly, and her mind and body are healthy. By consistently consuming various natural food nutrients, including anthocyanin-fucoidan nanocomplex (AFNC), which has an anticancer effect, the patient will continue to live a happy life.

CONCLUSION

There is a correlation between cancer patients' quality of life and length of survival. (e.g. <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="r002">Montazeri, 2009</xref>) The patient was diagnosed with terminal cancer and became a terminally ill patient for three months, but her prognosis improved after she began an OCNT prescription, resulting in an improvement in her quality of life.
