AB - Today, the keyword of Korean politics is definitely the language of conspiracy. In any case, when political issues emerge, the word "conspiracy theory" appears through the media, news, personal broadcasting, and SNS. In addition to "The Conspiracy Theory of the Cheonan Warship," "The Conspiracy Theory of the General Election," and "The Conspiracy Theory of the COVID-19," they also attract public attention with provocative titles such as "The 9/11 Conspiracy Theory." But the moment we put the label "Conspiracy Theory," our society treats patients with irrational, irrational, and paranoid doubts about it. However, there is also a need for academic research to reinterpret how "conspiracy theory" occurs, how it functions politically, and what it means. Conspiracy theory is a view of society distorted by individual narrow-minded thinking, but it analyzed seven positive characteristics that conspiracy theory brings a critical sense of society. On the other hand, conspiracy theories are verifiable, but because there is no rebuttable possibility by science and experiment, there is a limit to conspiracy theories, explained the limitations of conspiracy theories with Karl Popper's discussion. Nevertheless, it is judged that an academic review of conspiracy theory as one alternative knowledge that can interpret an era of unpredictable uncertainty is needed as a more systematic, critical theory.
