AB - This article describes a new proposal that is aimed at the development of the integrated portal model of digital library. For this purpose, some of definitional issues for library portal are reviewed. And then, some of the more significant examples of library portals are scanned, with comments on major features that constitute the basic requirements of library portal development. Nextly, a new proposal of library portal model and basic components of search/participation services which can be defined as a integrated library services is presented.
