AB - The steady growth of the Korean content industry has been accompanied by a rise in the distribution of illegal copyrighted materials. Copyright-infringing sites often use overseas cloud services and frequently change their domains to evade legal action. To address this, more rapid and effective blocking methods are needed. This paper proposes identifying these sites by utilizing advertiser identification codes found in ad banners, providing a method to detect alternative sites that operate through domain changes. An analysis of 51 infringing sites over six months revealed that 99.3% of ad banners contained identical advertiser codes. This validates the effectiveness of identifying and quickly blocking sites with changed domains. The proposed method demonstrates the potential to effectively block copyright-infringing sites despite frequent domain changes, contributing significantly to copyright protection and the prevention of illegal content distribution.
