AB - Outcome indicators measuring public libraries’ impact on the community and individual community members have a great utility on the accountability improvement, better management, and role enhancement. This study identifies such areas of demonstrating public library impacts as economic value, social contribution, and information literacy, by literature review. A framework pertinent to develop public library outcome indicators is suggested for implementing outcome based evaluation in an individual public library’s environment.
