AB - The purpose of this paper is to investigate leaderships for development of school library in Korea at the present developmental state. The writer discusses three kinds of leadership: field leadership, administrative leadership, and academic leadership. Each leaderships, for continuous and stable development of school library in Korea, are needed to be enhanced. Especially, establishment of the academic leadership is indispensible to initiate the development of school library in Korea.
