AB - There are more than 2 million blind and partially disabled people in Korea. They need access to books and information for all the same reasons as non-disabled persons: for lifelong learning, for social activity, for leisure, and to play a full part in society. In considering these realities, this paper has suggested the various strategies and plans to build and operate a cooperative library service network for the disabled persons. In addition, author commented on the subsequent actions for implementing the cooperative service model.
