AB - The study aims at providing a practical, rather then conceptual, guideline for transferring electronic records for the purpose of applicable to the archives in Korea. To achieve this purpose the study analyzed ISO, AHDS, and CCSDS transfer guidelines, examined requirements for transferring records in one Korean government agency as a testbed, and finally developed a proposed guideline for e-records transfer that is suitable for Korea settings. The study is deemed significant in that the proposed guideline is derived from a case study and analysis of major transfer guidelines available.
