AB - The purpose of this study was to provide an overview of the historical process of library and information science domain since 1970 in Korea. This study analyzed major subjects of 5,915 articles which were published through six academic journals in LIS area from 1970 untill 2015 by year and over 10-year periods. The results showed the development process of LIS domain itself and 4 sub-domains through subject analysis of 6 academic journals.
