ABSTRACT

This study designed and verified a research model to identify the influence of learning participation motivation, learning activity awareness, and learning satisfaction on learners participating in library and information science education through the credit bank system at university lifelong education institutions. To this end, a survey was conducted on library and information science majors at university lifelong education centers in the metropolitan area, and a valid sample of 215 copies was used in the study. The analysis results showed that learning participation motivation affected learning activity awareness, learning activity awareness affected learning satisfaction, and learning participation motivation affected learning satisfaction. These results show that it is necessary to provide a comprehensive function that can experience the learning ecology of library and information science majors. The significance of this study lies in the fact that it suggests the direction of the role of a catalyst as the main elements such as learners’ learning motivation and quality management of the process.
