AB - This study is to analyze and grasp apply the BIBFRAME Hub entity for LRM works’ collocations through literature analysis, Hub entity analysis, and interviews. Three approaches to applying the BIBFRAME Hub were examined. First is to use the BIBFRAME Hub as originally developed under understanding that bf:Hub is not equivalent to the LRM work because Hub should be utilized not only for LRM/RDA work collocation but also for collocating as subject and related work. Second, the institutions can develop their own BIBFRAME application profiles using their own name spaces to align with LRM entities. Third, new entities that correspond to LRM can be developed and applied in an integrated manner without replacing or modifying BIBFRAME ontology. As linked data construction increases, the focus on LRM works becomes more critical. It will be necessary to appropriately apply to use entities like the Hub, which are used for various focuses, or develop and utilize new entities that correspond to the LRM conceptual model.
