ABSTRACT

Canada is a multi-ethnic country made up of various ethnicities using both English and French. It has a well-organized multicultural education. Canada has tried to develop its own culture to develop and sustain its distinct national identity. Elementary school education exhibits Canadian cultural policy. The main interest in Canadian education is to make a well-educated and global citizen from the beginning years. Canadian music education focuses on developing a well-educated citizen, not a well-prepared musician. The students will learn how to enjoy music, how to express their opinion through music, and how to become a well-informed audience in school. The students will become global citizens by learning about various kinds of music from different countries and cultures.
