AB - In this paper, we investigate a risk assessment model of bomb attack for high-rise buildings based on the analytic hierarchy process. We present 27 layered evaluation elements which are classified by 4 defence layers and similarities. The model extracts weights of the layered evaluation elements based on the analytic hierarchy process. To reflect mutual supplementary effects within the similar elements, an evaluation level integration methodology is included in the model. For case study of the proposed evaluation elements and model, a survey is carried out by architecture and anti-terrorism specialists, and weight of each element is extracted. Finally, we present a case study model for assessing final risk level.
