ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is to examine the success factors of senior social enterprises operated by senior club for suggesting social enterprises as a long-term stable jobs to the senior who are experiencing social risks. The subject of this case study is an A senior social enterprises which is located in C province and running after the end of government support for more than one year. Through a review of previous research, select four success factors which are ‘social entrepreneurship factors’, ‘strategic factors’, ‘organizational factors’, ‘social network factors’. And through the analysis 10 sub-factors are founded, social value orientation, risk taking, management philosophy and vision, Trust-based marketing and promotion, establish a scientific management system, rich experience and specialized skills in the senior, utilizing external resources, democratic horizontal communication, in conjunction and cooperation with the parent organization, mutually beneficial relationships with a variety of social resources. Unique success factors of senior social enterprises are showed rich experience and specialized skills in the elderly. Based on these results of the study policy challenges are suggested for quantitative and qualitative increase in the senior social enterprise.
