ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study is discussing practical Korean classes that can be utilized in Korean language major courses and liberal arts courses as a part of the basic research of designing liberal arts Korean language curriculum and developing textbooks for Korean learning by international students majoring in beauty treatment and art. Currently, the studies on beauty treatment and art majors for international students have solely focused on vocabulary education and curriculum for practice. Some examples are the studies on classification of vocabulary related to beauty treatment or Korean language curriculum needed for practice process. However, the studies on Korean language related to beauty treatment and art approaching learning university majors in terms of contents have been insufficient until now. This study suggested Korean language classes related to beauty treatment and actual educational examples of advanced Korean language education for international students studying beauty treatment. This study can be used as an important material for Korean language education targeting academic field related to beauty treatment.
