ABSTRACT

Sookmyung Women's University has operated online writing feedback system since 2020. Several improvements have been found during the trial operation of this system. As a result of the trial operation, the role and status of online writing feedback system are expected to grow significantly. The study is the result of conducting a basic survey on the results of the trial operation of online writing feedback system and the data of writings written by students during the first semester of 2020. By correcting and making up the problems found during the first semester of 2020, the present online writing feedback system has improved further. The online writing feedback system of Sookmyung Women's University used its feedback history to help students learn to be self-directed and the advantages of online writing feedback system were confirmed. The purpose of this study is to focus on the effectiveness of ‘online writing feedback’ in the Situation of COVID-19, and to explore the improving way of writing education in the non-face-to-face learning situation. The online feedback system has been technically supplemented from the results of this study.
