ABSTRACT

The purpose of the study is to analyze the educational effect of Contents-Based Instruction (CBI) on foreign students' academic achievement and class satisfaction. The study analyzed the educational effect of CBI using the ‘adjunct model’ by dividing foreign students who took the ‘liberal accounting course’ into an experimental group and a control group. As a result of the study, the experimental group to which CBI was applied had higher academic achievement and class satisfaction than the control group, and the regression analysis using foreign students' Korean language skills as a control variable also confirmed that the application of CBI had a statistically significant positive effect on foreign students' academic achievement.
