「Journal of Advances in Military Studies」

Aim

Journal of Advanced in Military Studies is a journal registered with the National Research Foundation of Korea, published by the Institute of Defense Acquisition Program at Kwangwoon University. Its purpose is to promote academic development in the defense and military fields and to disseminate policy and practical research findings. In particular, it aims to provide a platform for professional academic exchange where domestic and international researchers and experts in the defense and military sectors can share the latest research findings and policy perspectives. Furthermore, by systematically introducing major current issues and the latest research trends in the defense and military fields, it seeks to contribute to the advancement of related disciplines and the revitalization of research, as well as to the practical development of defense policy formulation, defense industry, and the military field.

 Scope

This journal broadly covers theoretical, empirical, and policy research across the entire spectrum of national defense and the military, including defense and military management, defense and security policy, military systems, the defense industry, weapon system acquisition, defense science and technology, defense research and development, and defense budget and cost analysis. In particular, by actively encouraging interdisciplinary and convergent research that links defense science and technology and defense and security policy with various academic fields such as defense industry, business administration, economics, law, and public administration, it is expanding the research scope of defense and military studies and fostering new academic and policy discourses.
