AB - The purpose of this study was to develop the course content of the military nursing in the Korean war.
For this study, previous studies and literature related to the military nursing in the Korean war were reviewed.
The data were collected from various documentation of testimony and memoir. The interviewee were retired Korean nurse officers who participated in the Korean war.
The content of the military nursing in the Korean war consists of 5parts which are history of the Korean nurse officers in the korean war, nursing activities in the Korean war, characteristics and significance of the military nursing in the Korean war, various documentation of testimony and memoir and foreign military nursing activities in the Korean war.
As the result of this study, scattered data about the military nursing in the Korean war were systematized with integrity. Therefore these results of this study will become a help to use the basic data for the military nursing education and the military nursing practice.
