AB - This paper is a study of the editions existing in the process of creating and transforming the drama Bujayuchin(父子有親-Intimacy between father and son) by Oh Tae-seok and the theater group Mok-wha. Based on this, the government confirmed the whereabouts of the Bujayuchin drama-text involved in the creation and transformation of the drama, and carried out the pre-determination process that prioritizes interpretation. In this paper, we discussed four editions of the drama text of Bujayuchin by Oh Tae-seok and the theater company Mok-hwa, describing the process of dramatizing, rehearsing, and staging the drama, reconstructing and recreating the drama-text.
In this paper, based on the first performance in 1987, the pre-performance version and the post-production version were introduced, and based on this, playwright Oh Tae-seok and theater company Mok-Hwa described the history of the production of the Bujayuchin edition through a series of performances that were accepted differently by each stage during the stage production process. In the process of the creation and change of the edition, the playwriting method was formed. It is a collage play method that is combined and moved by the literary narrative and language of Han Jung-rok and the chronology of Sandae Yeon-hee.
