AB - The purpose of this study is to explore the actual existence of Damheonjip(澹軒集), especially by analyzing the remaining 2 leaves of Damheonjip written by Lee Ha-Gon(李夏坤), Dam-Heon(澹軒). He was a scholar, book collector and writer in the later Chosun Dynasty and contributed much to the development of local culture.Especially through the records of his biological chronology, the remaining 2 leaves of Damheonjip, and the testimony of Lee Jeong-Hui(李晶熙), his 8th generation descendent, it is now confirmed that Damheonjip, which has been only known by its title, was actually compiled in 10 volumes. And, it is believed that Damheonjip was based on Dutacho(頭陀草), the collection of his writings.The content of 691 Chinese characters which remained in 2 leaves of Damheonjip was compiled, based on volumes 14 and 15 of Dutacho, and 29 other places were revised or edited during its compilation.
