AB - Deliberation on publication based on the Publication and Printing Promotion Act is carried out by Korea Publication Ethics Commission(KPEC). The study of deliberaion on publication was accomplished in the point of view of communication, journalism and law. The purpose of this study is to investigate the standard and the system of deliberation in Korea in the library & information science's point of view. The results of study are ; they need to appoint experts in the field of reading and library with deliberation committee, and to distinguish their fuctions and approaches between boundaries of law and administration; deliberation standard is short of the consistence in concepts and levels of principles; the real core terms of judgement are lasciviousness and lewdness, even though key words are national security, public order, social ethic, welfare, personal honor and right; they need to add the item for violation of the individual honor and right, to the deliberation standard.
