ABSTRACT

This study analyzes the cited literatures in Injaeji(仁濟志) of Limwonsibyukji(林園十六志), which mainly deals with medicine. As a result, it is discovered that 113 titles are misspelled, abbreviated, or variant from the known titles. Also, in Injaeji a total of 752 titles of books are cited 22,214 times. When compared with 832 titles of literature listed in the bibliography of Limwonsibyukji(林園十六志), only 277 titles cited in Injaeji are the same ones. An analysis of those 277 titles both listed in the bibliography and cited in Injaeji shows that 202 titles(72.92%) are the Chinese literature which include mainly the works in Song Dynasty (44 titles, 15.9%) and Ming Dynasty(49 titles, 17.69%). Of all the cited literature, only 40 titles(5.3%) are quoted over 100 times, with the total of 15,734 times(70.8%). It means that those 40 titles are the core literature for compiling Injaeji.
