The Changing of Publication Right of the Copies of Joseon Appeared the Book Lists in Japan - Based on Cunfucian Books Written by Korean Published in Kyoto from 17C to Early 18C -

ABSTRACT

This study is about the changing patterns of the publication right of the confucian books written by Korean published in Kyoto from 17C to early 18C. The reason that would like to focus on this time is that this time is very meaningful on the publish culture as well as on the Japanese history. It has been pointed the effect of Imjin War(壬辰倭亂, 1592~1599) as one of the cause in this changing. There are much books and publishing tools that had been introduced from Joseon. And then there were published in the bookstores in Kyoto especially confucian books containing Korean writers. The bookstores in Kyoto were important for published culture in this time because they had the largest number of publishing rates in the other publishers. So it is necessary to analyze the bookstores in order to understand effect and meaning in the copies of Joseon published in Japan. The book lists written by book stores indicate books that had been published and sold in this time. Especially Jeung-ik-seo-jeok-mong-rok-dae-jeon(增益書籍目錄大全) is the only one that are included the publication right for each books. So it is expected to know particularly the circulation patterns of the books by bookstores, if it could compare with publishing year in the copies published at that time. Consequently it could be found many patterns changing publication right between bookstores. There can be thought by many reasons like opening moment of the origin bookstore, or publication right infringement between bookstores etc. Furthermore this study was trying to analyze bibliographically. As a results, it is possible to know the changing between the editions according on the publication right change or not.
