AB - This research covers the edition of 『Sunmoonyeumsongseolwha』, which had been commenced at Sunjeongam of Mt. Myohyang in 1684 and completed at Gomyobuldang of Anjoo in 1685 and the transcribers who had wrote the draft of the 『Sunmoonyeumsongseolwha』. The study primarily focuses on the edition of Sunjeongam which consists of 5 volumes with 30 parts along with physical- bibliographical investigation. Furthermore, it comprehensively covers the government- affiliated transcribers who had been titled to each edition as the authors via historical records. The records of the transcribers had already been witnessed in Gyojang of 11th century and the records of those who had earned the titles of Myungseupgeupjeja or Sakyungwon transcribers, which both refers to as summa cum laude transcribers, had also been intermittently discovered in epigraph or historical records. Moreover, there had been myriad of the masters of calligraphers from the period of Goryeo to Chosun but they were distinctly separated from the transcribers of the editions. Consequently, this research will be a milestone for future researches regarding the historical activities or the editions of the transcribers.
