AB - This study investigated the method of bibliographical description of Sikuquanshuzongmutiyao which was published by Ji-yun, Ch'ienlung reign, Qing Dynasty. The bibliographical description was examined in respect to title, volume number, edition, written age, name of author, functional word of authorship, and noteworthy examples. The great significance of Sikuquanshuzongmutiyao can be found in the fact that it established entries for annotated works based on considerably unified method of bibliographical description and compiled the bibliographical description of China.
