AB - For a while, the study on Kim, Chung Hyun was focused on his calligraphy works. The Geunyeokseobo which was introduced at the 10th memorial ceremony of Iljung Kim, Chung Hyun by Iljung Kim, Chung Hyun Memorial Association in October, 2016 provided an opportunity to evaluate Kim, Chung Hyun again. The original Geunyeokseobo is a reference that was published in a series 150 times from Mar. 07, 1967 to Apr. 16, 1968 on Shina Daily Newspaper ; the published Geunyeokseobo at this time is a book which is completed by editing the past newspaper sources again. Making a book by editing newspaper series again is a rare case. The process of changing the 150 newspaper columns into a 725-page book in 50 years was revealed in this thesis through the interviews with the people who participated in the editing of this book. Geunyeokseobo of Kim, Chung Hyun refers mostly to Geunyeokseohwajing of Oh, Se Chang. Thus, in this thesis, introducing Oh, Se Chang who provided a lot of references to Geunyeokseobo and the book Geunyeokseohwajing, the value and the meaning of Geunyeokseobo of Kim, Chung Hyun were highlighted in terms of succession and development. If the writings that were published in a newspaper in 50 years were not found and edited, they could be disappeared. However, they got new lives by being published as a book. Moreover, they were not published as they were ; instead, they were analyzed and published by editing in a modern way. Thus, it is very meaningful. The academic achievement of Oh, Se Chang is continued by Kim, Chung Hyun, and it is continued by Iljung Kim, Chung Hyun Memorial Association again ; consequently, it was published as a book named Geunyeokseobo, which is a new fruit.
