ABSTRACT

This paper proposes an innovative microservice-based adaptive smart platform tailored for eXplainable AI (XAI)-driven intelligent software systems. As modern intelligent applications demand high modularity, transparency, and real-time adaptability, traditional monolithic architectures fall short of meeting dynamic operational requirements. The proposed platform decouples complex XAI functionalities into autonomous, containerized microservices, enabling flexible orchestration and seamless scalability across heterogeneous environments. Furthermore, an adaptive resource management engine dynamically optimizes model inference and explanation generation based on real-time system workloads and user contexts. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed architecture significantly enhances system response time, resource utilization, and overall execution reliability.
