ABSTRACT

As music is reused across platforms in compressed, modulated, and partial forms, identification results do not readily translate into settlement, largely because a consistency-judgment structure that converts matching results into auditable evidence associated with standard identifiers has not been well established. We present a front-end-interoperable layer that uses a top-1 match, registered reference metadata, and reference embeddings to detect potential conflict patterns in ISRC–ISWC linkage metadata at the recording and work levels without consulting injected conflict labels at inference time. The layer produces an evidence object comprising the matched candidate, consistency judgments, the used segment, a relation label, and calibrated confidence to support review and decision-making in settlement systems. Experiments with synthetically injected identifier conflicts in public audio data confirm the functional operation of the proposed layer. Under registry-link noise, the audio-based graded score provides greater discriminative capability than a metadata join-only rule.
