AB - This study analyzed the requirements for users of the DOI registration management system of the Korea DOI Center to improve the registration and management service of DOI, one of the persistent identifiers. To this end, users were divided according to the type and the requirements for each type were identified. First, 349 inquiries received by member organizations were collected and the requirements of member organizations were analyzed, and then the requirements of partner organizations were derived by interviewing 7 people in charge of 5 partner organizations. As a result, it was found that member organizations have requirements related to DOI registration, such as improving the registration management system itself or strengthening the guidance function, and in the case of partner organizations, it was found that they have requirements related to the recommendation of partner organizations, such as improving the member management function under their subsidiary and developing a new API. Accordingly, the need for the DOI Center to seek a dualized service improvement strategy according to the characteristics of member organizations and partner organizations based on the expressed requirements was proposed.
