ABSTRACT

With the expansion of digital transformation and generative AI, teachers’ ability to design customized digital learning tools has become increasingly important. This study developed a regional literature-based interactive Literary Field Trip web app using Vibe Coding by a Teacher Librarian and analyzed it from the TPACK perspective. The purpose was to complement the physical limitations of offline literary field trips and deepen learners’ contextual understanding of literary works. As a research method, a digital literary map was constructed through OCR-based spatial information extraction and geographic coordinate mapping. Learner persona-based customized routes were then implemented, and focus group interviews and in-depth interviews were conducted with in-service teachers and experts. The findings show that a Teacher Librarian can independently design and develop a customized educational tool. The developed web app was also evaluated as supporting learners’ contextual understanding and active literary exploration by connecting literary texts with real-world spaces.
