AB - The study on mind is a typical inter-disciplinary research domain which spans philosophy, psychology, sociology, cognitive science, and other many fields. Nevertheless, the variety of terminology involved in the study of mind, have been used to vary the field, this problem has become an obstacle to the effective fusion research. Therefore, the comparative dictionary of mind is an important foundation for research which understand the difference and some broad understanding of mind.
In this study, the methods to construct the comparative dictionary of mind, fusion research as construction process itself, are discussed and the guidelines are established. This paper defines the scope of mind research in the comparative dictionary of mind, provides the methods of selecting entries in the dictionary, and proposes the description style of entries according to the concept of ‘mind model’ for comparative discussion on mind studies in multi-disciplinary sector.
