AB - Nowadays, Korea society was divided two camps, that is, the conservative and the progressive by political circles and civil societies. And then the politics of public square substituted for the representative politics. In this situation, what can do philosophy and philosophers. How we can make a diagnosis and a prescription about this politics of public square. In this context, we have to consider a practice of philosophy and the role of philosophers. In this process, we will focus on Ernst Cassirer's view point in terms of his political philosophy. Cassirer was strongly resisted for Nazism and sharply analyzed about ideology of Nazism. Therefore we will use Cassirer's view point in order to examine the logic of politics of public square in our society. In this article, firstly we will deal with a practice of philosophy and philosophically define about the phenomena of politics of public square. And nextly we will reveal the mechanism and operation of politics of public square. Finally we will disclose the logic of politics of public square.
