AB - (1) Objectives: This study examines the site-specific historical musical Uigi Nongae, performed on the floating stage of the Namgang River near Uiam Rock at Jinjuseong Fortress in 2026. It analyzes how a historical place is transformed into performance content and what cultural significance this transformation produces.
(2) Methods: This study analyzes Uigi Nongae from three perspectives: the formation of place-based memory through Jinjuseong Fortress, Uiam Rock, and the Namgang River; the transformation of Nongae’s historical narrative into a visual and sensory performance; and the expansion of local historical resources into tourism content through citizen participation and night tourism.
(3) Conclusions: Uigi Nongae is not merely a local performance, but a case of regional K-historical content that combines historical memory, place identity, citizen participation, and cultural tourism strategy. The performance demonstrates how local historical narratives can be reconfigured as site-specific cultural content and used to strengthen historical tourism.
