ABSTRACT

The number of North Korean defectors is constantly increasing, with more than 30,000 people leaving the country to date. Women make up more than 70 percent of the total number. The study on North Korean defectors is mostly conducted by men and all of the North Korean defectors, although the study did not show any special characteristics of women, and the study conducted by 8.22 percent of the North's total population was based on women. Therefore, this study was designed to compare and analyze the general characteristics of the study on North Korean defectors and North Korean women who escaped from the country and to discover the uniqueness of North Korean women who escaped from the country by analyzing their studies. General characteristics analysis found that the research arm was limited, the research subjects were small, the ratio of direct research was high, and experimental design study lacked such characteristics as pre - and post-programmed comparison. This study focused on the study of North Korean women who have left the country to focus on defectors, so it excludes research on North Korean women and the North Korean regime, so it excludes the nature of North Korea in its regime.
