ABSTRACT

This article reports the results of research aimed at analyzing visiting behaviors (Visiting purpose, duration, source of recognition, subject of interest, etc.) and satisfaction levels (Accessibility, promotion & guidance, contents, staff service, convenience facilities, food, etc.) of people who visited 'Samcheok International Fire & Emergency Equipment Expo 2008' from Oct. 14th, 2008 to Oct. 18th, 2008 (5 days). The results showed that the average satisfaction level of expo visitors was 4.75 out of 7. The highest satisfaction level was in contents of expo, which scored 5.14. It was followed by 5.10 in staff service, 4.90 in accessibility, 4.88 in promotion & guidance, 4.52 in convenient facilities, and 3.94 in food. The findings of this study suggest that the price and variety of food, and the quality of convenience facilities such as bathroom facilities, resting facilities, parking facilities the contents that showed the lowest satisfaction levels - should be improved if the city hosts another fire & emergency equipment expo in the future.
