AB - The purpose of this study is to analyze examples of terrorism on subways in each nation and present measures to deal with terrorism on subways. The following are countermeasures against a terrorist attack in Korea based on previous examples of terrorism in subway tunnels of each nation and it is shown as some stages by the risk management. In prevention stage, a new bill dealing with a chemical and biological weapons should be drawn up. In preparation stage, the training program of terror safety should be made, the government needs to keep citizens aware of security during acts of terrorism, a reward should be given to anyone who reports any suspicion, and training regimes for an attack by terrorist groups should be established. In fighting stage, field controling management system with information sharing is required. In restoration stage, a long-term management system should be set up to care for the injured, and the victims or their families, and to pay for them.
