AB - For maintaining and strengthening sovereignty over Dokdo, it is necessary for Korea to consolidate effective control over Dokdo. We examined about the Dokdo Volunteer Forces which played an important role in control over Dokdo. The Dokdo Volunteer Forces are the modern version of righteous army against Japan’s pillage of Dokdo during the turmoil by the Korean War. The root of the emergence of righteous army in other times was organized during a national crisis, while the Dokdo Volunteer Forces started from the personal motivation of overcoming a crisis. This is why we have to remember and inherit the spirit to future generations.
