AB - Microcredit advocated by private sector after IMF crisis in 1997 in order to overcome Government functional problem in terms of poverty reduction has been proving its good performance record in Korea. As a result, sympathetic circumstances for the usefulness of Microcredit has been arised in concerned fields such as paliament institutionalization and private sector's CSR. Considering its effectiveness of poverty elimination, Microcredit has to be functioned regionally to meet increasing social demand, but almost Microcredit institutions are facing various obstacles in fund raising manpower and management problem. In this paper we will look and examine what is all about Microcredit - distinction, mechanism, problems, solution and the likes. For the careful review purpose, actual practices of Microcredit case in local field of Korea and other countries will be compared. In this contrast, three valuating criteria, Man, Money and Management are to be adopted which are very important factors in respect of Microcredit sustainability. Finally, we will look around the potentiality and sound direction of Korea Microcredit which were raised out of the various suggestions in this paper.
