ABSTRACT

This study concentrates on dialogue analysis of Life Politics in Korea which occurred as a new political trend. While many studies are devoted to explain life politics of Japan and Western countries, relatively little scholarly attention was been given to understanding the development and figures of Korean life politics. In an effort to fill this gap, this study found three main routes which have affected Korean life politics. First, Japanese life politics have an effect on Korean civil organizations which emphasize on civil participation and empowerment. Secondly, the discuss of academic world in Korea have been effected from the theories of Jurgen Habermas. Thirdly, the investigation of Anthony Giddens exert influence on political parties and politician in Korea which commonly regard life politics as non-ideological, apolitical and pragmatic policy.
