ABSTRACT

In this study we tried to inspect the professional identity of care-giverand empowering leadership of the organization's manager and to verify howthe identity and profession of care-giver affect the service. This studysurveyed 191 care-givers working in long-term within the North JeollaProvince working in long-term. The result of the study has significance on discovering that empoweringleadership is parametric factor of perspiring the identity of care-giver andof increasing the quality of the service. Based on the result of this studywe suggested the solution for improving the quality of the service for theelderly with the relationship between empowering leadership and the jobidentity of care-giver.
