ABSTRACT

This paper seeks to propose solutions through the shrinking social crisis and the extinction of the local provinces in South Korea. We propose various ways to resolve structural contradictions in our society by system or policy to prepare for the post-Corona19’s era with Korean society after the Fourth Industrial Revolution. In particular, the issue of local extinction and population decline can be evaluated as urgent problems that need to be implemented by establishing an immediate solution to resolve the crisis in Korea's shrinking society. To this end, this paper consists of four chapters to conduct research. In the first chapter, we will link the shrinking social crisis in South Korea with the crisis in the local provinces to present the purpose of the study. In the second chapter, the political and social background of Korean society and necessity for research of this paper will be re-presented with a focus on existing discussions and research results. In the third chapter, we will present various examples and methods of application to enable specific and detailed ways to resolve the crisis of Korea's shrinking society. The fourth chapter, we will draw attention to the importance of resolving this shrinking social crisis in South Korea and the possibility of developing proposed revitalized ways of studying.
